2026 Fall Ball

Fall Ball is a fun, instructional season designed to help players grow their skills and confidence in a relaxed, development-focused environment. It’s perfect for players trying out a new division or preparing for the spring season.

Divisions & Ages

• T-Ball / Coach Pitch Baseball: typically ages 5–7 ($60)
• AAA (Player Pitch) Baseball / Softball: typically ages 7–9 ($80)
• Majors Baseball / Softball: typically ages 10–12 ($80)
• Juniors Baseball / Softball: typically ages 13–14 ($80)

Divisions may shift based on registration numbers and skill levels.

There are no tryouts for Fall Ball — players are placed in the division selected during registration.

Key Dates & Schedule

• Registration Opens: June 7
• Early Bird Discount: $10 off if registered by July 17
• Registration Closes: August 17
• Season: August 31st –November 1st

Games:

• T-Ball / Coach Pitch: Saturdays at one location
• All other divisions: Sundays, locations across Salem-Keizer

Practices: AAA and up, one weekday practice per week (scheduled by coach). No practices for T-Ball / Coach Pitch during fall ball.

What to Expect

• Coaches can be on the field during games to offer instruction
• Focus on learning, teamwork, and having fun
• Less competitive pressure as the focus is on seeing as much development as possible.

Cost & Gear

• Cost:
  • T-Ball / Coach Pitch: $60 per player
  • AAA and above: $80 per player
• Early Bird: $10 off if registered by July 17
• Includes: Jersey and hat
• Bring Your Own: Pants, cleats, glove, and bat

Weather & Makeups

We aim to play all scheduled games, but cancellations may happen due to rain or unsafe field conditions. We’ll try to reschedule when possible.

Volunteers Needed

Fall Ball runs on volunteers! We need coaches, umpires, and helpers at every level. It’s also a great season for new volunteers to get involved.

South Salem Little League Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility: Players are entitled to a refund if they withdraw prior to the first game. Refund amounts will be based on league expenses already incurred.

• Prior to Team Assignment: A refund will be issued for the amount of the registration fee, minus a $10 processing fee.
• After Team Assignment: A refund will be issued for 50% of the registration fee. The cost of any ordered uniform will also be deducted from the refund.

• Include Refund Request in the subject line
• Player's Name
• Parent's Name
• Division the player was registered in
• Reason for refund

Please allow 2 weeks for the refund to be processed.
